Fieldtrips are a time to extend children’s learning. Children get opportunities to experience things hands on and in person. These experiences can help strengthen their core knowledge, and give memories that will last a lifetime. Parents are encouraged to experience the fieldtrips with their child. During the school year, our K4 children and preschool classroom take part in two fieldtrips. In the fall, the children travel to a pumpkin farm where they are able to interact with animals, take a hayride, and pick a pumpkin or two. In the spring, they travel to the Milwaukee Zoo. What a great way to experience live animals and learn about them.
During the summer months, the children experience many different in-house fieldtrips, or out of house fieldtrips. In-house fieldtrips are where the entertainer will come to the Academy. For out of house fieldtrips, Faith Academy rents a bus for the excursions.
